DISCLAIMER
This Is Not an Official Arcus Site
ArcusGuide is an independent guide written by one trader. It has no connection to the companies that build, operate or invest in Arcus. If you came here looking for the official platform, docs or support, the links below go straight to Arcus.
No affiliation
ArcusGuide is an independent, third-party resource operated by Concept211. It is not affiliated with, produced by, reviewed by or endorsed by Arcus Labs Ltd, Arcus Labs Inc., Pocket Protector Labs Inc., dYdX Trading Inc. (dYdX Labs), the dYdX Foundation, Robinhood or any of their affiliates. "Arcus" and related names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify the platform this site documents.
Restricted jurisdictions
Arcus perpetual contracts and derivatives trading features are not available to persons in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom or other restricted or sanctioned jurisdictions, and Arcus restricts spot trading there too. This site is not intended for persons in those jurisdictions. Do not use a VPN or any other tool to get around a regional restriction; Arcus prohibits it.
Who runs this site
ArcusGuide is written and maintained by Concept211, an independent trader and developer. It is a personal editorial project. Nobody at any of the following writes for it, reviews it, approves it or has a say in what appears here:
- Arcus Labs Ltd, the Cayman Islands company that issues the Arcus Protocol Terms
- Arcus Labs Inc., which provides technology services for the protocol
- Pocket Protector Labs Inc., the operator of the Arcus web and mobile interface
- dYdX Trading Inc., which does business as dYdX Labs and built Arcus
- The dYdX Foundation, a separate body associated with dYdX Chain
- Robinhood, including Robinhood Crypto, which Arcus names as a strategic investor
Those roles are taken from Arcus's own terms and announcements. More about me is on the About page.
Not the other Arcus
This site covers only the exchange at arcus.xyz. It has nothing to do with Arcus Biosciences (NYSE: RCUS), the Arcus Network project that trades under the ARCUS ticker on CoinGecko, or any other company or product called Arcus. The Arcus exchange has no token of its own. The disambiguation page lists the common mix-ups.
Where to find the official sources
For anything authoritative, go to Arcus directly:
- Arcus website: arcus.xyz
- Developer docs: docs.arcus.xyz
- Help center: help.arcus.xyz
- Blog: arcus.xyz/blog
- Interface Terms: arcus.xyz/legal/terms
- Protocol Terms: arcus.xyz/legal/protocol-terms
- Privacy Policy: arcus.xyz/legal/policy
- Arcus on X: @arcus_xyz
Arcus's Protocol Terms print the docs address as "arcus.docs.xyz". That is a typo. The real docs live at docs.arcus.xyz, and a lookalike domain is exactly what phishing sites use, so type it carefully.
Trademarks
"Arcus", "dYdX", "Robinhood", "Robinhood Chain" and related names, logos and marks belong to their respective owners. They appear here only to identify and describe the platforms being written about. No claim of ownership is made, and their use does not imply a license, partnership, sponsorship or endorsement. The same applies to every other platform, protocol, wallet and company named on this site, including the logos shown next to their names.
No VPNs, no workarounds
Arcus's terms prohibit using a VPN or any similar tool to get around a regional restriction, and its affiliate terms forbid sites like this one from suggesting it. This site will never explain, recommend or link to a way around a restriction. If Arcus is not available where you live, the availability guide explains what the terms say.
Not legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Descriptions of regulatory status, tax treatment and market availability are general information that varies by jurisdiction and changes over time. Confirm anything that matters to you with a qualified professional and against primary sources.
That includes anything you read here about:
- whether Arcus, a market or an activity is lawful or available in your country
- how Stock Tokens, perpetual futures or any other instrument is classified, including whether something is or is not a security or a regulated derivative
- licensing, registration or anti-money-laundering obligations, yours or a platform's
- how any trade, funding payment, referral reward or points balance is reported or taxed
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and with the terms of any platform you use.
Statements about design and entity roles
Where this site describes how Arcus is built, why a feature works the way it does, or which company is responsible for what, that is a reading of public information: Arcus's docs, terms, blog and statements by the people involved. It is not insider knowledge, and it is not an account of anyone's reasoning or intentions. Entity roles can change, and the terms are the authority on who is responsible for what. Check the primary source before relying on it.
Third-party products
Arcus connects to products it does not run itself: Stock Tokens issued by Bitstamp, the USDG stablecoin from Paxos, deposit and withdrawal routing through Fun, wallets, bridges and oracles. Each has its own operator, terms and risks. Naming one here is not a recommendation of it.
Trading risk
Leveraged perpetual futures can lose you your whole margin quickly, and off-hours pricing on equity perps can move margin requirements without a trade. Arcus is in beta, and its terms say there is no deposit insurance or compensation scheme. Fees, funding rates and volumes change constantly, and any number quoted here reflects a point in time. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
Referral and affiliate links
This site contains referral and affiliate links, and we earn from them. Join Arcus with code ARCUSGUIDE and Arcus applies its referral discount (shown in the app as 5% off trading fees) to your account, while we earn a share of the trading fees you pay, at no extra cost to you. Arcus pays that share from its protocol revenue and can change the rates. We also earn a commission on some hardware wallets, tax software and portfolio tools we recommend. That never changes what you pay, and it does not decide what makes the list. Nothing here is financial advice.
A referral link does not grant access to Arcus perpetuals, which need an invite code or a waitlist slot. Outbound paid links are marked as sponsored in the page source. The About page explains how the referral works.
Accuracy and corrections
Figures are sourced and dated as described on the Methodology page. This site is provided as-is, with no warranty that anything here is accurate, complete or current. Corrections are welcome from anyone, including the companies written about here. The fastest route is @Concept211 on X or the Contact page.
