What Arcus Is Built On

Robinhood Chain and USDG
Arcus runs only on Robinhood Chain, which Arcus's help center describes as an EVM layer 2 that inherits Ethereum's security (mainnet chain ID 4663). Collateral is USDG, the Global Dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos; perps are quoted, margined and settled in it. Stock Tokens are issued by Bitstamp, and perp prices come from a Pyth Pro oracle feed. Deposits and withdrawals run through Fun, and email sign-in wallets through Privy.
Who builds Arcus
Arcus is built by dYdX Labs, the trade name of dYdX Trading Inc., with Eddie Zhang as founder and CEO. Robinhood Crypto is a strategic investor, not an owner. Arcus Labs Ltd issues the Protocol Terms and Pocket Protector Labs Inc. operates the app. dYdX Chain keeps running separately, and the dYdX Foundation is a different body again. pTokens, points and the token question
pTokens are ERC-20 tokens that each represent a managed perp position, such as long BTC or 3x long HOOD, which you can hold in a wallet. Arcus Points started on October 1, 2026, with weekly distributions. Arcus has no token. dYdX's founder has said part of "any future Arcus token" would go to the dYdX community, but Arcus's own terms say points carry no right to a token or airdrop. Not the other Arcus
