Arcus Points, Token and Airdrop: What Is Actually Confirmed (2026)
Table of Contents
Short answer: Arcus has no token, no airdrop has been announced, and Arcus's own terms say points do not entitle you to either. Arcus Points are real and live, Season 1 pays out weekly, and the only official sentence about a token is a conditional one from dYdX's founder. Everything sold as "Arcus airdrop confirmed" stretches that one sentence. This page separates what is documented from what is hoped for, with a source for each line.

Does Arcus have a token?
No. The Help Center answer is one line: "No, Arcus does not currently have a token." There is no Arcus governance coin on CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap. The Arcus tokens that do appear on CoinGecko (PBTC, PBTC3X, SBTC, SBTC3X and PHOOD3X) are pTokens, Arcus's leveraged vault tokens, which the pTokens guide explains. They track a perp position and say nothing about a future airdrop.
The ticker that causes the confusion is ARCUS. On CoinGecko it belongs to Arcus Network, an AI-agent payments project on the Arc chain with no connection to the exchange.

Where the token talk comes from
Three official statements feed the speculation. None is a promise.
1. dYdX's founder. In "A New Arc" (June 30, 2026), dYdX founder Antonio Juliano, who joins the Arcus board, wrote: "An allocation of any future Arcus token will be reserved for the dYdX community." Read the words closely. "Any future" token is conditional. It names no ticker, supply, date or distribution method. It is the only official sentence about an Arcus token, and every "confirmed" airdrop guide I found cites nothing beyond it. How Arcus and dYdX relate is covered in Arcus and dYdX.
2. The "co-owners" line. Arcus's July 1 launch post says "we plan to grow closely alongside you as co-owners." That is aspiration, not a mechanism.
3. The waitlist wink. The July 6 waitlist post says: "Early access activity will be tracked. Do with that as you will." Points arrived three months later. Points are not a token.
Arcus Points: Season 0 and Season 1
The points announcement of October 1, 2026 launched the program in two parts.
Season 0 covers the private beta, July 1 to September 30. Arcus says it "has distributed a special allocation of Season 0 points" and that you need to do nothing to receive them; connecting a wallet on the Points Dashboard shows your Season 0 leaderboard rank. The amounts themselves are hidden: "Season 0 points will be revealed towards the end of the points program."
Season 1 started on October 1. "Points are distributed weekly on Wednesdays at 3PM EST, with allocations continuing over the course of the season." No end date has been given.
Two follow-up replies from the official @arcus_xyz account explain how the weekly pool works. "Each weekly distribution is a fixed amount. Weekly points do not scale up with platform volume" (post). And on the size of that pool: "We don't publish the weekly distribution amount... so it can't be gamed" (post).
A fixed weekly pool means points are a share of a pie, not a rate. If more traders show up, everyone's slice shrinks, and doing more volume than last week does not guarantee more points.
Your balance lives on the Rewards page of the app, under the Points tab, next to the Trading and Referrals tabs. Because Season 0 amounts are hidden, what you see there for the private beta is a rank, not a number. Anyone who claims to know the Season 0 totals, or offers a tool that "reveals" them, is guessing at best.
How points are earned
Arcus lists four activities:
| Activity | What Arcus says |
|---|---|
| Trading | Allocations "weigh how you trade, not merely volume," and factors are "subject to adjustment over time" |
| Market making | "Quoting tight, deep, and consistently" |
| Retained deposits | "Hold your collateral on Arcus" |
| Referrals | "Earn bonus points based on the activities of traders you bring in" |
On top of that, boosts apply. Two categories were live at the Season 1 launch: trading Stock Tokens and other real-world assets, and trading outside regular US market hours ("both currently earn more"). A third boost covers Robinhood Wallet swaps routed through Arcus, which "applies within spot points" and "doesn't change how points are weighted between spot and perps." Arcus says all boost categories "are subject to change." For how off-hours trading actually works, including the risks, see trading stocks 24/7 on Arcus.
Arcus does not publish a formula. Complaints on X since launch reflect that: one trader wrote "I've seen people with 2-4x my volume getting worse rank." That fits the "not merely volume" line, and it means nobody outside Arcus can tell you exactly what a trade is worth in points.
What reduces or erases points
The points post names the behavior that gets cut: "wash trading, self-matching, deliberate clustering, rapid churning (repeatedly depositing, trading, and withdrawing), and other detected gaming behaviors will result in diminished or no points allocation." Arcus also "reserves the right to slash points for accounts determined, at its sole discretion, to be or have been behaving fraudulently," and reduced or slashed points are "reallocated to other points recipients."
Annex C goes further. You are ineligible if you engage in Sybil activity, wallet splitting, account rental or referral rings; wash or circular trading; or "delta-neutral, hedged, circular, self-canceling, or economically irrational activity that Arcus determines is undertaken primarily to farm Points rather than for bona fide product usage, even if such activity is not otherwise unlawful."
That last clause matters. The classic airdrop-farming setup, long on one venue and short on another so you carry no market risk, is named as disqualifying.

Annex C of the Protocol Terms, "Points Program Terms," is the legal frame for everything above. The key paragraph:
"Points do not represent ownership, equity, claims on revenue or any other economic or governance right or interest in Arcus or the Protocol. Points are not redeemable for cash or other consideration. The existence of a Points Program does not guarantee a later token generation event, token migration, reward airdrop, or similar event, and Points do not convey any entitlement or right to participate in any token generation event, token migration, reward airdrop, or similar event involving the Arcus Protocol in the future."
Other sections add:
- No reliance. You "should not use any features of the Protocol or Services for the sole purpose of earning Points," and published guidance on earning points "does not constitute any binding promise."
- Eligibility. The program "is not available to persons located in the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, or other Restricted Persons."
- Non-transferable. Points are personal, and Arcus "does not recognize, support, or condone any person purporting to transact in Points or any secondary market for Points." Anyone selling points or points-loaded accounts is outside the rules.
- Retroactive changes. Arcus may "modify, reduce, increase, recalculate, correct, adjust, expire, devalue, freeze, suspend, cancel, revoke, or forfeit any or all Points (whether accrued, displayed, or pending), including retroactively."
The blog post itself closes with the same idea: "Arcus Points are a participation metric only, with allocation at the sole discretion of Arcus." This is a description of the terms, not legal advice.
Referral bonus points and invite codes
Referrals feed points in two ways. Traders you bring in generate "bonus points based on the activities of traders you bring in" for you, and the people you refer earn their own normal points. Since October 1, invite codes double as referrals: when a new trader signs up with your code, they become your referral, and their activity counts toward your referral points bonus (invite codes post).
Invite codes are earned at one per $1M of qualifying perps volume and are single-use. A referral link is a different thing; it binds you to a referrer but does not unlock perps on its own. Invite codes and the waitlist and the ARCUSGUIDE referral code explain both.
The fake ARCUS tokens
Because there is no real Arcus token, every token called "Arcus" or "ARCUS" is either an unrelated project or a fake. DexScreener's search on October 2, 2026 returned these, among others:
| Chain | Name / ticker | Contract | Official? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Robinhood Chain | Arcus / ARCUS | 0x904043F5442EcCcf998Fa898FdA4785d2b5F7777 | No |
| Robinhood Chain | Arcus / ARCUS | 0x94FFA58c0BC366FEEfDCBD64B5004a9d6475A3C6 | No |
| Robinhood Chain | Arcus Pons / ARCUS | 0x6e4db65dB8758D943F61d2F9Abcb26449B93082D | No |
| Base | Arcus (several contracts) | various | No |
| Arc | Arcus Network / ARCUS | 0xB7C934FF18730c24e6113BB4bC5A68feEf16fD29 and others | Unrelated project |
The first three are the most dangerous because they sit on the same chain as the real exchange, and a search inside a Robinhood Chain wallet or DexScreener puts them next to genuine Arcus pTokens. Robinhood Chain has already seen chain-wide token scams, including a rug-pull ring across 53 token launches reported in September. The scams and fake sites guide covers phishing domains, fake claim pages and what to do if you signed something you should not have.
There is nothing to claim
How to think about points
Points are a scoreboard Arcus controls, paid from a fixed weekly pool it does not disclose, under terms that let it change balances after the fact and that rule out any entitlement to a token. Maybe a token follows one day; Juliano's sentence leaves that door open. Nobody outside Arcus knows, and nothing in writing commits Arcus to it.
So the sensible approach is the dull one. Trade on Arcus if the product suits you: the zero-fee Stock Tokens, the equity perps, the fees. Treat any points as a possible bonus with a value of zero until proven otherwise. Do not churn deposits, do not run hedged volume to farm, and do not pay anyone for points, invite codes or an "allocation." What is Arcus is a good starting point if you are still deciding.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Arcus's Help Center says Arcus does not currently have a token. The only official statement about one is a line from dYdX founder Antonio Juliano that an allocation of any future Arcus token will be reserved for the dYdX community. No ticker, supply, date or mechanics have been announced.
No airdrop has been announced. Arcus runs a points program, but Annex C of its Protocol Terms says points do not guarantee a token generation event or airdrop and carry no right to take part in one. Any site asking you to claim an Arcus airdrop is not official.
Season 1 points are distributed weekly on Wednesdays at 3PM EST, starting from October 1, 2026. Season 0 points, covering July 1 to September 30, have already been distributed, but Arcus says the amounts will only be revealed towards the end of the points program.
No. The ARCUS ticker on CoinGecko belongs to Arcus Network, an unrelated AI payments project. The only Arcus exchange tokens on CoinGecko are its pToken leverage vaults, such as PBTC and PHOOD3X. Tokens named Arcus that trade on Robinhood Chain, Base or other chains are not official.
No. Annex C of Arcus's Protocol Terms says the points program is not available to persons located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom or other restricted persons. Arcus also prohibits using a VPN to get around regional restrictions.
