Arcus Referral Code ARCUSGUIDE: 5% Off Trading Fees (2026)

Join Arcus with code ARCUSGUIDE and Arcus takes 5% off your trading fees, automatically, on every trade, for as long as you trade there. It costs nothing and takes one click. Do it before your first trade: Arcus lets you add a referral code early, before your volume passes its cutoff, and the code can't be changed afterward.

What you get with ARCUSGUIDE

• 5% off trading fees. Arcus's app shows "Receive 5% off on all trading fees" when you join under a referral code, and its API changelog for 2026-07-22 records a "5% referral fee discount for referred users."
• Automatic. There's nothing to claim and no coupon to re-enter. The discount rides on your account.
• Permanent once bound. Arcus's referral post says "You can't add or remove your referrer after," so the code stays with you.
• Free. You don't need a deposit or a minimum balance to bind it.

The discount applies to trading fees, which on Arcus means perpetual futures. Stock Token spot trades already carry no Arcus fee. Perps at the base tier cost 0.0225% taker and 0% maker during the beta, against standard rates of 0.045% taker and 0.015% maker once the beta ends (fee tiers API, 2026-10-02). How the discount sits alongside fee tiers

Fee tiers and the referral discount are separate things that work together. Your tier is set by your rolling 30-day perps volume and moves up automatically, whether or not you ever touch a referral code. The referral discount is a fixed 5% that Arcus shows on top of whatever tier you're in. Here is the live schedule it applies to:

What 5% adds up to

The saving grows with your volume and with the fee rate, and both point upward over time. A worked example at the Base tier, all taker fills:

Add it before you trade

The code attaches when you join, or soon after. Arcus's referral program post puts it plainly: "you can only add a referral code early on. Once your trading volume passes a set threshold, that option closes for good. You can't add or remove your referrer after. So if you're going to use a code, do it before you start trading seriously."

The API reference puts that threshold at a rolling 30-day volume below $1M. Most new traders are well under it, but there's no reason to wait. If you already joined under another code, the app will tell you: "You're already linked to a referrer, so this referral code can't be applied."

How to apply code ARCUSGUIDE

New to Arcus: use the link

1. Open app.arcus.xyz/ref/ARCUSGUIDE.
2. Sign in with email or Apple (Arcus creates a wallet for you), or connect a wallet such as MetaMask.
3. That's it. The code binds automatically when you sign up through the link.

Already have an account: enter it manually

1. Open Rewards in the app and go to the Referrals tab.
2. If prompted, click Enable Trading and sign the message. Arcus requires that signature before referral actions.
3. Type ARCUSGUIDE in the referral code field and hit Enter Referral Code.

To check it worked, look at the Rewards page. Per the Help Center, your referrer shows next to "Referred By."

If the code won't apply

Most failures come down to a handful of causes:

• You're already linked to someone else. The app says so in as many words: "You're already linked to a referrer, so this referral code can't be applied." Your existing referrer stays, and there's no way to swap.
• Your volume is past the cutoff. Once your rolling 30-day volume crosses Arcus's threshold, the field closes. Arcus's deadline page points questions to support@arcus.xyz.
• Trading isn't enabled yet. Referral actions need the one-time Enable Trading signature first.
• You signed in with a different wallet. The code binds to the wallet you were signed in with when you opened the link. If you created an email wallet in one browser and connected MetaMask in another, check which one shows "Referred By."
• A typo. Codes aren't case-sensitive, so "arcusguide" works too, but the spelling has to match. The safest route is the link itself.

What the code does not do

A referral code does not unlock perps by itself. Arcus perpetuals are in a gated beta, and access comes through a single-use invite code from an existing trader or a waitlist slot. Plenty of posts on X share referral links as if they were invites; they aren't. Our guide to Arcus invite codes and the perps waitlist explains both routes.

What does work straight away is spot. Anyone in an eligible region can trade Stock Tokens the moment they sign in, no code or queue needed, and your spot volume counts toward your waitlist position. One more thing to know: per the API reference, if you later redeem someone's invite code and that is what opens perps for you, your referral moves to that code's owner from then on. Arcus documents it as a one-time, forward-only change.

Earn from your own referrals

Once you're on Arcus you can run the same program yourself. Arcus pays referrers a share of the net trading fees their network pays, three levels deep, "for as long as they keep trading":

How it works in practice:

• Create your code under Rewards → Referrals → Create Ref Code (enable trading first). Codes are 1 to 32 characters, one per trader, first come, first served.
• Share your link in the form app.arcus.xyz/ref/YOURCODE. Referees can't see your wallet address behind it.
• Claim any time. No epochs and no payout calendar. Rewards accrue as your network trades, and claiming credits USDG to your Arcus trading account once a small minimum builds up.
• Earn invite codes too. Your direct referrals' perps volume counts toward the $1M per invite code you earn.

Some context before you count on it. Commissions come from perps fees, so spot-only referees generate none today. During the beta, maker fees are zero and taker fees are halved, so commissions are smaller than the standard schedule implies. Arcus's Protocol Terms (Annex B) say rewards are "paid solely from protocol revenues" and that "reward rates could be reduced or eliminated in the future." Arcus also reserves the right to adjust rewards for self-referral and clustering. As a reality check, the top account on Arcus's public affiliate leaderboard showed about $9,850 in lifetime commission on 2026-10-02. Annex B also treats affiliate rewards as income, so check your local tax rules; this isn't tax advice.

Referrals and Arcus Points

Arcus launched a points program on 2026-10-01, and referrals feed into it. Per the points announcement, referred traders earn points the normal way from their own activity, and the referrer earns a bonus based on what the people they bring in do. Season 1 points are distributed weekly, on Wednesdays at 3 PM EST.

Keep expectations grounded. Arcus has no token, and Annex C of its Protocol Terms says points "do not convey any entitlement" to a token generation event or airdrop, can't be transferred, and can be changed or forfeited, including retroactively. • Arcus's employee referral bonus. Arcus's careers page advertises a $15,000 hiring referral program. That's for recommending job candidates, not traders.
• Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Search engines often swap "Arcus referral code" for "Marcus referral code." Different company, different product.
