When you enter a referral code, the Arcus app shows “Receive 5% off on all trading fees”, and Arcus's API changelog recorded the same “5% referral fee discount for referred users” on July 22, 2026. It sits on top of beta pricing that already starts at 0.0225% taker and 0% maker.
The one thing to get right is timing. Arcus only lets you attach a referrer while your rolling 30-day volume is under its threshold, and once a referrer is set it cannot be changed. Set it at signup and it is done.
What the discount is worth at your volume
Taker fees at Arcus's base tier, before and after the beta, with the 5% applied. The numbers scale linearly, so double the volume and the saving doubles.

Open Arcus through the referral link
Visit app.arcus.xyz/ref/ARCUSGUIDE. The code ARCUSGUIDE binds to your account when you sign in, with nothing to type.
Sign in
Use email or Apple for an embedded wallet, or connect MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom or WalletConnect. The beginner's guide shows each screen.
Check the code under Rewards
Open Rewards, then Referrals, and confirm the referrer shows. If it does not, choose Enter Referral Code and type ARCUSGUIDE before you trade in size.
Fund and trade
Deposit to get USDG, trade Stock Tokens straight away, and trade perps once you have an invite code or a waitlist slot.
Referral code, invite code and waitlist
Arcus runs three separate things that are easy to mix up. A referral code like ARCUSGUIDE sets your referrer and your fee discount. An invite code unlocks perpetuals during the beta; traders earn one for every $1 million of qualifying perps volume, and each works once. The waitlist is the other route to perps access, in cohorts.
So ARCUSGUIDE gets you the discount and lets you trade Stock Tokens on spot right away in eligible regions, and perps open up when you redeem an invite code or your waitlist cohort is called. Earning from your own referrals
Once trading is enabled you can create your own code under Rewards, then Referrals. Arcus pays three levels on the net trading fees of the traders you bring in: 10% from people you refer directly (15% if you reach VIP at $1 billion of 30-day perps volume), 3% from their referrals, and 2% from the level below that, per the Arcus referral announcement and the live commission schedule. Rewards accrue per fill and can be claimed at any time into your Arcus balance.
Arcus's affiliate terms set rules for anyone who promotes it: no marketing to restricted jurisdictions, no suggesting a VPN, no paid search on Arcus's brand terms, and plain disclosure that you are paid. Read Annex B of the Protocol Terms before you share a code.
